Uncertainty

Most of your magnetism came from your depth
In the dark trenches of your pain
And the clamber you endured
From the scars you bear
To the baring of your vulnerable skin
But your unpredictability makes me uneasy
Some mornings you pull me into you like oxygen for your lungs
Some nights we are the like poles of your magnetism and repel effortlessly
I don’t know if you breathe me in or if I suffocate

All I know is when I look at you
I become aware of my inability to be without
My mind finally stops running
The uncertainty dies
Because suddenly, you are looking at me too
